British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
